Job search / assisted automation

Jobby: a human-led
AI job search assistant.

Jobby is an AI-assisted job-search system that helps find relevant roles, review fit, draft cover letters, and track applications. It is designed as an assisted workflow: the person reviews opportunities and decides what to pursue. The public product is currently in early access and does not submit applications automatically.

01 / The problem

A job search is more than a list of links.

Finding a promising role is only the beginning. Each opportunity requires a decision about fit, careful written material, and a reliable record of what happened next. Jobby brings discovery, fit review, cover-letter drafting, and tracking into one assisted workflow without treating application volume as the goal.

02 / The visible workflow

What does Jobby help the applicant do?

  1. Discover. Search for roles that match the applicant’s stated criteria.
  2. Review. Compare each role with the applicant’s base resume and preferences.
  3. Draft. Prepare a cover letter for a selected opportunity.
  4. Track. Keep selected opportunities and their current status organized.

This describes the product from the user’s point of view. The internal mechanisms that make the workflow useful remain private.

Frequently asked questions

Jobby

What is an AI job search agent?

An AI job search agent coordinates several parts of a job search instead of handling only one isolated task. Jobby focuses on role discovery, fit review, cover-letter drafting, and tracking while leaving the decision about which opportunities to pursue with the person.

Can AI tailor a resume to a job description?

Yes. Jobby can prepare job-specific resume drafts from the applicant’s supplied resume. Every draft needs human review and must not invent experience or qualifications. The public site offers an early-access waitlist, not public access to drafting.

Does Jobby automatically submit job applications?

No. Jobby’s current early-access workflow helps find roles, review fit, draft cover letters, and track selected opportunities. The applicant decides what to pursue, and Jobby does not submit applications automatically.

How does Jobby keep the applicant in control?

The applicant chooses which opportunities move forward and reviews fit information and cover-letter drafts before using them. Jobby supports the decision without making the final career choice on the applicant’s behalf.

What parts of a job search can Jobby help with?

Jobby can help find roles, review job fit, manage a base resume, prepare job-specific resume and cover-letter drafts, and track application status. Drafts need human review; Jobby does not submit applications automatically or guarantee interviews. The public early-access waitlist does not provide public access to drafting.

Does using an AI job search assistant guarantee interviews?

No. Jobby can reduce repetitive work around discovery, review, drafting, and tracking, but employers control interview and hiring decisions. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.
